With COVID-19, we’ve all had to rethink safety & sanitation — especially healthcare professionals. Here at Smile Rx Dental, staying abreast of and using the latest, cutting-edge technology to reduce exposure to the virus has been our top priority. In addition to modifying our office layout, our patient scheduling and screening, our sterilization processes, we have added a few new safety and sanitation equipment that purify the air and surfaces in our office. Our newly installed Air Scrubber connects with our HVAC ducts to remove all bacteria, viruses and allergens circulating in our office. It has a UVC light and uses an ionization process to kill and disinfect. It is based on space technology used by NASA!

We also spray HOCL in our cold fogger machine daily and fog every surface in the office, including the air. HOCL is 80 times more efficient at killing pathogens than chlorine bleach, it is completely natural, and does not irritate the eyes, skin, or respiratory tract.

Armed with these new measures, we have gone above and beyond ADA and CDC protocols for dental offices. We are prepared to see our patients, and hope to see you soon!
